Full and Lifetime Members are friends of open-wheel auto racing who support the mission and goals of the organization. Lifetime Members are Full Members who have paid a one-time fee for Lifetime Membership. Although not required, each Full and Lifetime Member shall have the opportunity to vote, volunteer on a committee, or hold office on CARA's Board of Directors [when nominated by a current CARA member]. CARA Charities is a service organization dedicated to serving the needs of our communities through collaborative partnerships and special projects with members of the Motorsports family, specifically but not limited to the IZOD IndyCar Series. We depend on the generosity, creativity, and enthusiasm of our members to help make our communities better, by participating in CARA events and activities or by creating their own fundraising activity to benefit one of CARA's many programs that children's safety and well-being. Without our members and volunteers, we would be unable to accomplish our mission. Thank you to the many CARA members [past and present] who unselfishly support our projects and events by giving of their time, talent and/or treasure.
